There’s been much debate on this topic – what is the impact of releasing CO2 at altitude, what happens to the other compounds released as a part of a jet’s exhaust, and so on.

We’ve decided to play it safe, and use a Radiative Force Index of 3. The impact may well be lower, but we think that it’s better to err on the side of caution until everyone comes to a common consensus of opinion.

After all, it’s better to be carbon positive than to be unsure.
